Flower Essences can assist us in working with our conditioned mental, emotional and behavioral patterns in a way that is compassionate and loving. They can help us mindfully clear patterns on deeper levels so that we can truly experience transformation in all areas of our lives. Flower Essences work on the subconscious (energetic) level.

THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND

The subconscious mind is your store house of everything that has ever happened in your life. It is your history book. It records information, details and makes associations so the conscious mind can access these at a later time. Your subconscious also stores your perceptions, beliefs, habits, and emotions. While your conscious mind is only 5% of your overall consciousness at any given moment, your subconscious mind is 95% of your overall consciousness.

The subconscious mind houses your conditioned patterns of beliefs, thoughts, stories, and ways of responding to life. These patterns come from our family, our ancestors, our culture and our experiences from before birth and throughout our lives. These subconscious patterns are running in the background of our lives all the time, affecting what we think, feel, believe, and do.

Gentle Support for Mental & emotional Wellbeing

Working with energetic modalities such as Flower Essences allows us to clear patterns that are in our subconscious mind. Old patterns or emotional wounds that we have been working on for years can therefore be transformed more easily.

Practices, such as meditation, can also help bring many of our subconscious patterns to the surface.  You may notice that when you sit down to meditate waves of sadness or anger or some other emotion comes up.  If you are unfamiliar with this "clearing out" it can be disconcerting.  Flower essences can assist in addressing these patterns that arise and help you move through them with more clarity and ease.

what are flower essences

The healing power of flowers has been lovingly used for centuries, across the world and throughout civilization. A flower remedy (essence) is an energetic (vibrational) infusion, made by floating the flower(s) in a crystal bowl of spring water under sunlight. This imparts the vibrational imprint of the flower into the water. The remedy is then bottled without any plant material.

Flower essences are the energetic imprints of the life force of the plants, which interact with our subtle bodies effecting gentle, yet powerful, transformation. Flower essences work through the medium of water and energy and unlike chemical drugs which suppress symptoms, flower essences are catalysts for emotional change and work by stimulating our awareness.  By using flower essences and working through emotional states it is possible to peel away layers of emotions helping you to feel more alive and in touch with your goals, values and creativity.

Flower essences can be used topically or internally and do not have adverse reactions with other medications or side effects. And since they work through resonance with your energetic body if you use an essence that you don’t need, there will be no effect.

Recent studies have shown that flower remedies are effective at reducing emotional and environmental stress on the body (EMF's from computer use and other electronics). Flower essences work through the human energy fields, which in turn influence mental, emotional and physical well-being. Over time layers of chronic behaviors and patterns that could take years, or even a lifetime, to overcome transform themselves.

FLOWER ESSENCE THERAPY UTILIZING FLOWER ESSENCE ACUPUNCTURE

Traditional acupuncture, using stainless-steel needles, stimulates acupuncture points on the body along the meridian system (energetic pathways). Each acupuncture point is “encoded with a specific resonance that sends a message to your body, mind and spirit via the energy pathway when the point is stimulated. In Flower Acupuncture we are replacing the needles with a Flower Essence which becomes the catalyst that stimulates the movement of life force energy through the body”. Deborah Craydon, Floral Acupuncture

Using Flower Essences externally is a way to ground psychological insights into the body, enabling your body to work with your emotional, mental and spiritual processes in an uplifting and supportive way.

During a session, if you would like to utilize Flower Essence Therapy additional information will be collected and you will help guide the selection of the appropriate essence and learn how to effectively use it at home.

It is important to note that Flower Essence Acupuncture does not replace your regular traditional acupuncture treatments but is an adjunct to it.

UTILIZING FLOWER ESSENCES WITH OTHER HEALTH MODALITIES

“Flower essences are renowned for their universality of application. They are used by thousands of people in diverse circumstances, and as a supplement to many forms of health care. Because the flower essences work at very fundamental levels, yet in such a non-invasive way, they can be used concurrently with other health therapies. What is more, use of the essences can actually enhance other practices by addressing psycho-spiritual issues which may be underlying various health problems. Physicians, nurses, chiropractors, acupuncturists, herbalists, massage practitioners, physical therapists, nutritionists, psychologists, pastoral counselors, social workers, and other professionals find the essences to be an invaluable adjunct to their practices.

Flower essence therapy is not an exclusive answer to all of humanity’s ills. It does not substitute for our daily practices of meditation and prayer, physical exercise, healthful diet, social responsibility, and moral development. However, used with sensitivity and understanding, the essences are an important catalyst toward a more health-filled, balanced lifestyle. By stimulating greater awareness of our inner life, the essences build a much needed bridge between the realms of body and soul.” - Patricia Kaminski, Flower Essence Society
