BODY SCAN MEDITATION

Guided meditation by Dr. James Rush bringing awareness to the body. This meditation can be done either sitting in a chair or on a cushion, or laying down.

 
 

(Please note that some people with a history of trauma may find body meditations to be challenging, please listen to your own wisdom as to what is best for you. Check in with your body, asking yourself, “Does my body like this or not? What does my body want? Is it okay to keep going, or do I need to stop now?” These questions can be helpful if strong emotions or pain arises during meditation.)
